This heritage town, nestled in the Colombian highlands at 2,900masl., boasts architecture that has withstood the test of time since the 17th century.
Departing from Villa de Leyva, the transfer will take two and a half hours. Upon arrival, we’ll enjoy the fresh mountain air and stroll through the main streets to the famous Royal Bridge of Calicanto.
After the tour of the town, we’ll head towards Lake Tota, stopping at several viewpoints along the road until we reach Playa Blanca. There, we’ll walk on the white sands to the dock and learn about the importance of the lake, including the legend of the Devil Whale Monster, or Muyso. After visiting Lake Tota, let’s return to Villa de Leyva or continue to another destination, as you prefer.

8AM. Pickup at your hotel. Travel towards Tunja on route to our first destination.
10:40AM. Arrival to Monguí and time to enjoy the beautiful village, time for a coffee.
1:00PM. Lunch time in Batán Restaurant.
2:30PM. Start travelling in direction to the Tota Lake.
4:15PM. The tour continues towards the Tota Lake, in the Playa Blanca sector, for a short barefoot walk on its white sands, and from there we begin the return to Villa de Leyva.
4:45PM. Return to Villa de Leyva.
7:15PM. End of the tour at your hotel in Villa de Leyva.
