Among its main activities, birdwatching stands out, where you can enjoy a great diversity of hummingbirds, including the endemic Arcabuco Prince (Coeligena prunellei), as well as 100 other recorded bird species; hundreds of butterflies, as well as mammals, insects, and reptiles, which you can spot by keeping a sharp eye out while walking through oak and pine forests and enjoying a picnic to fill your lungs with fresh mountain air.

6AM / 9:20AM. Check-in at the Nature Reserve.
6:10AM – 9:30 / 9:30AM – 12M. Walking all around the reserve looking for birds or to enjoy the nature, walking inside the oak forest and pine.
10AM / 12M. Ready to get walking again, head to the administration center for a coffee or any other beverage you’d like to order.
11AM / 1PM. Transportation will be waiting to take us back to Villa de Leyva.
12M / 2PM. Around this times you can be at your hotel.
