Several waterfalls in the region offer the perfect setting for this incredible activity, always surrounded by well-preserved forests. Some waterfalls feature pools inviting you for a refreshing dip before you’re ready for descents of 20 to 35 meters, depending on the waterfall chosen by our experts.
Adventure activity for any expertise range. Suitable only for travelers with good health and physical conditions up to 65 years of age. One-hour drive to the location. Tour duration: 4-5 hours. Swimming suits are a must, as well as dry clothes to change into at the end of the activity and trekking shoes. Not suitable for children under 10 years of age, adults with nervous conditions, health challenged or weight-challenged. Moderate weather with probability of mild rains.

9AM. Pickup at your hotel.
10AM. Arrival at the location after vehicle drop-off.
10AM – 10:20AM. Hiking tour with downward inclination towards the waterfall stream. Swimming and refreshing activities are encouraged when reaching the Green Well, while the rappel equipment is prepared.
11AM. Rappel usage equipment instruction follows and immediately after, a one-by-one-person descent initiates down the waterfall.
1PM. After all the participants reach the bottom of the descent, and then traveling party can take a couple of minutes to rest and recuperate.
2PM. Initiate the hike back to convened location of the transportation.
2:30PM. Transportation will take the traveling party back to Villa de Leyva.
3PM. End of the tour at your hotel.
